Welcome to my website, my name is Lesley Lovely. I am a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator specializing in nutrition for people with pre-diabetes, diabetes, weight management, celiac disease and chronic kidney disease in Mansfield, Burleson, Arlington and surrounding areas. My years of experience have helped me understand my clients need more personal care verses a standard "apply this diet". For that reason I dedicate an appropriate time to get to know and evaluate my clients to help them be successful in pursuing a healthy lifestyle and body weight.

Nutrition Counseling Over the last 27 years, like most dietitians, I have built up quite a bit of experience with nutrition counseling for certain disease states. I have also had personal experience with some of these issues or I have a family history of many of these issues so I know what it is like first hand to practice what I preach. My diet has changed completely since I started my nutrition degree in 1999 and it has changed even further since I was diagnosed as gluten intolerant over 5 years ago. I know what it is like to give up my favorite foods and beverages. On many levels I understand and can relate to the frustrations, challenges, grieving and mourning you may experience as you make the necessary changes to your dietary intake for the sake of your health and possibly for the sake of your weight as well.
The conditions I feel comfortable and skilled in assisting others where nutrition counseling is concerned are weight management, such as overweight and obesity, pre diabetes, Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, chronic kidney disease, fatty liver disease, gluten intolerance and celiac disease, irritable bowel disease, polycystic ovarian syndrome, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, high blood pressure, hypothyroidism, and autoimmune diseases. Unfortunately, a person may be suffering from several of these at once which is why up to date education as well as support and accountability are so important in helping you to either best manage any of these conditions, or possibly put one or more of them in remission.
